We woke up this morning at about 7am, and dad was out on a run. When he got back, Audrey wanted to go for a walk, and mum was invited too, so Polly and I stayed back at the apartment to play games together. The others got home at about 9am, soon to play games, and watch GLEE. We then drove all the way to Gruyère to the Callier chocolate factory! We arrived at 12:30pm, and went straight to the chocolate factory tour. It was really interactive and we walked through eight different rooms explaining the history of the chocolate and the chocolate factory. There were lots and lots of tasting to be done! We then had lunch in the cafe and at 2:30 pm we went to our chocolate making class. We said it was Audrey’s birthday, so she managed to get three extra blocks of chocolate from the chocolate maker and everyone wished her a Happy Birthday! We all made chocolate bars and chocolate animals which was really, really fun. We left the chocolate factory at 4 pm very full. I made a chocolate pig with smarties and sprinkles :)). We then drove to Gruyere so that Ben could go to the aliens museum with Audrey while we waited in the cafe for him. We then drove home the one and a half hours to arrive back in Interlaken at about 7 o’clock at night for a supermarket dinner and TV watching.
