After we’d all woken up a bit, Mum, Polly and I packed all our luggage, and headed to the patisserie on the corner on the street for breakfast, while Audrey and Dad headed to Purgeot to pick up our new leased car. The car turned out to be a lot smaller than we thought we booked, but we managed to squeeze all our luggage into it, and hit the road! In total, we drove 6 hours, and were already in Alsace by 11am. On the way, we did stop at McDonalds for lunch, which is Audrey’s all time favourite. We arrived in this stunning fairytale town at about 6:30pm, to a stunning house where the host had made a kugelhopf cake and had packed the fridge with juices and milk. We all headed out to a divine dinner nearby that lasted for 2 hours. It was a Michelin called Winstub du Chambard. We indulged on local drinks, venison, sausages, spetzel, Ginea fowl, ice cream and lots of fun!
